Have You Made a Difference in Someone Else’s Life?
Bob West served as the chaplain for the State of Florida House of Representatives for 37 years, all without pay in the form of a paycheck. Instead he earned love and admiration from everyone he counseled and comforted. During this time he was a spiritual advisor but never talked politics. He’s a rock for everyone he meets, and Naomi is his rock.
Westminster Retirement Communities Foundation is committed to ensuring self-respect and independence of the residents. Living at Westminster Oaks is more than “residing.” It embraces a quality of life and values that mean something. Some of those values are serving God, loving “thy” neighbor, generosity, and for many, being an example in exercising those values. These values attracted Bob and Naomi to Westminster Oaks 19 years ago.
Westminster Oaks community life does not happen by accident. It requires leadership and a staff committed to those values. It is with very thankful hearts and minds that Bob and Naomi enjoy what God has provided for them their entire lives, especially the latter days at Westminster Oaks.
Since moving to Westminster Oaks the Wests have established multiple charitable gift annuities for the Benevolent Assistance Endowment Fund. They have five children, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, so they certainly could have decided to only support their family. Instead they choose to leave a legacy for their family, as well as their friends and neighbors at Westminster Oaks, and for future residents.
